Field Day in Duran Sponsored by MedExpress Urgent Care

Summer 2012 - Physicians for Humanity volunteers Emily Gray, Cristina Kline-Quiroz, Dana Schwab and Melissa Tullock during last summer's MS1 Ecuador trip conducted a field day for the children of Derechos de Los Pobres in Duran.  Supplies and refreshments were sponsored by MedExpress Urgent Care, www.medexpress.com.

Sunday, February 3, 2013 - Dana Schwab (MS 2012 volunteer) and our new MS1 2013 volunteers (Kevin Vasquez, Jessyca Campos, Victora Shertel and Alyssa Cocchiara) from UMDNJ had the opportunity to make dinner for the Ronald MacDonald House families in Camden, NJ.  
 
This was a great way to serve locally while bringing the new volunteers together in preparation for their upcoming Ecuador trip.  Check out the wonderful thank you note from the RMH Operations Manager:

Dear Dana, On this very cold afternoon, our hearts are filled with warm appreciation for you! Thank you for treating our kids and their families to a wonderful dinner this last weekend. You filled our house with the delicious scents of a homemade meal, helping our families feel like they were truly home.
